24 Hours Adoration before the Blessed Sacrament

The entire parish at Most Holy Redeemer Church Derebail submitted itself at the feet of the Lord by holding a 24 hours adoration before the Blessed Sacrament. This prayer event commenced on Friday 22nd March after the morning Mass at 7.00 and continued till the 23rd March, 2024 till 6.15 in the morning. The parishioners thronged to the church organising themselves through their respective Wards. It was a time of where there was an outpour of spiritual blessings from the Lord present in the Blessed Sacrament. This was also special for the entire country as a ‘Day of Prayer and Fasting’. Three special intentions were invoked during this 24 hour long adoration: Praying for our Country; Praying for the families of our parish; Praying for the sick and the needy. The parishioners showed great enthusiasm by coming and surrendering themselves at the feet of the Lord. Rev. Fr Joseph Martis, Parish Priest and Fr Kevin the associate Priest, accompanied the people. The 24 holy hours were powerful moments of divine grace and heavenly blessings.
