Way of the Cross and Recollection of the Lord's Passion: Kadjahithlu Ward

The members of Kadjahithlu Ward came together for a Way of the Cross and Recollection of the Passion of Christ on 26 March, 2023 at 4.30 PM. The prayer session was held at the residence of Mrs. Leena Lasrado. 

The Gurkar, Mr. Rakesh Dcunha welcomed the ward members and briefly spoke on the significance of coming together for the Way of the Cross. 

Mrs. Priya Dcunha, Mrs. Benedicta Alvares and Mrs. Laveena Loy D'Souza led the prayer through  Gospel verses, and sang hymns to the Cross. 

Mrs.Cecelia Lasrado, Mrs. Lilly Lasrado, Mrs. Philomena Lobo and Mrs. Pramila D'Souza led the Way of the Cross. Mr.Rakesh Dcunha, Mr. Jeevan Mendonca and Mr Sudesh Lasrado enabled the recollection of the Lord's Passion through their reading of the same from John. 

The presence of the Parish Priest Rev.Fr.Joseph Martis added to the solemnity of the programme. Fr.Joseph addressed the gathering and highlighted the significance of the Lord's Passion. He also prayed over and gave communion to ailing and aged members of the ward.

Mrs. Reshma Lasrado rendered the Vote of Thanks. Refreshments were served

A total of 52 members were present.
