Pavsa Gammath at Kapikad Ward, Derebail Church - 2022

The members of Kapikad  ward joined together on 14 August, 2022 at 4.00 PM  for a ward meeting at the residence of Mrs. Terry Pais-" Ssnads Blare." 

After the meeting the ward members got together to taste  various dishes prepared by them as a part of "Pavsa Gammath" celebration in the ward. About 18 dishes that are prepared only during the rainy season were cooked and relished by the ward members.                                                                                The Parish Priest Very  Rev. Fr. Joseph Martis , Rev. Fr. Gerald Pinto and Rev. Bro. Vikash were present.    Mrs Terry Pais welcomed the gathering.   Rev. Fr. Joseph Martis invoked blessing on the food and inaugurated Pavsa Gammath.  All the participants enjoyed the food. The Parish Priest  Fr. Joseph Martis  blessed all the ward members and their families and thanked them for preparation. He complimented  the ward members for being united and for being generous enough to share food and love  . The Ward Representative, Mrs. Patricia Mendonca  gave the vote of Thanks.
