Triple Celebration at Most Holy Redeemer Church, Derebail Back

The Most Holy Redeemer church Derebail witnessed Tri-Celebration that is the 50^th birthday of Rev.Fr Austin Peres, Closure of Small Christian community and the commencement of the Year of Rosary which was held on 15^th Jan 2018. It was a grand celebration where Bishop, Priests, altar boys and parishioners took part in the Eucharistic celebration. Several weeks of practice led by Choir Master Mr. Alwyn Dcunha added harmony to the celebration.

An honoring ceremony took place where the Ward Gurkars, Presidents of various committee and organization were felicitated. Children and youth who excelled in various fields were also honored. A special programme was given by the youth and children.

To sum up it was a great day with the wheels of preparation rolling from a month and the credit goes to Rev.Fr Gracian Alvares, Gurkars, Committee members, Choirmaster and all the parishioners.The celebration ended with a sumptuous meal cooked and served by the Parishioners with the assistance of Menezes caterers.
