Parapade Lower Ward Picnic and Ward Meeting at River Shine Resort, Mulki

The members of Parapade Lower Ward organized a combined ward meeting and day picnic to River Shine Resort at Mulki on Sunday, 8 February 2026. The participants boarded the bus at 9:00 a.m., beginning their the journey with a hymn to the Holy Spirit, creating a prayerful and joyful atmosphere. The group reached the picnic destination at about 9:30 a.m.

The spiritua; session included a Bible reflection conducted theough the "7 Steps of Bible Reflection." The prayer session concluded with a hymn. During the formal ward meeting, the ward representative Mrs. Laura Correa, presented the ward report of the previous month, updating the members on the activities and developments in the ward.

The entertainement and recreational segment featured various activities that encouraged fellowship and participation, including group boating, kayaking, rainwater dance, swimming and various other individual and group games. Refreshments and food was also served to the members.

The picnic concluded with evening coffee and snacks, after which the members returned at 5:30 p.m. The event successfully combined spiritual reflection, community engagement and recreation, strengthening unity and fellowship among the ward members.
