Catholic Sabha Meeting: New Office Bearers Elected

The Catholic Sabha meeting began with a prayer.The president Mr. Nelson Castelino welcomed the Spiritual Director  and Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Joseph Maris and Associate Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Steevan Nelson Peris; the election officers Mr. Denis D'souza (Vamanjoor Unit) and Mr. Tony Pinto (Shaktinagar Unit); and the gathering. 

The primary agenda of the meeting was to conduct elections for the new office bearers. The election officers Mr. Denis D'souza and Mr. Tony Pinto diligently carried over their responsibility of conducting the elections. They explained the rules and announced the names of the eligible members before beginning the election. 

The new office bearers for the term 2026-27 are as follows:
President: Mr. Nelson Castelino 
Vice president: Mr. Jeevan Miranda 
Secretary: Mrs.Shaila Noronha 
Asst.secretary: Mrs. Mable Rodrigues 
Amcho Sandesh: Mr. Ronald Rodrigues 
Sthree Hithasanchalaki: Ms. Sabitha Fernandes 
Rajakiya Sanchalak: Mr. Alwyn quadras 
Samuday Abhivridhi Sanchalak: Mr. Edward Coelho 
Yuva Hitha Sanchalak: Dr. Alfreeda Pinto
Nikatpoorv Adhyaksh: Mrs. Vilma Monteiro. 

Rev. Fr. Joseph Martis briefly addressed the gathering wishing the newly elected office bearers success in their newly appointed positions. The Secretary Mrs. Shaila Noronha delivered the Vote of thanks.
