Pilgrimage: Most Holy Redeemer Church, Derebail

On 2nd May 2025,  a group of 96 parishioners from Most Holy Redeemer Church, Derebail, embarked on a spiritual pilgrimage to St. Antony's Shrine, Kerekatte. The day began at 7:00 AM with a short prayer led by the parish priest, Rev. Fr. Joseph Martis, at the church grounds. Following the prayer, the group boarded two buses and departed at 7:15 AM.

The first stop was at Udyavar Church, where the parishioners had their breakfast. The parish priest, Rev. Fr. Anil, welcomed everyone warmly and shared insights about the significance of their church and the various pilgrimages made there.

The journey to Kerekatte then resumed. The parishioners celebrated the Holy Mass at Kerekatte. This was followed by a Eucharistic Adoration, led by Rev. Fr. Joseph Martis. After the spiritual activities, the group engaged in fellowship through games, enjoyed lunch, and relaxed together. A game of Housie-Housie added joy and entertainment to the afternoon.

In the evening, the parishioners  visited Perampalli Church, where Rev. Fr. Vishal provided an informative tour of the church. He explained the architectural structure and carvings, highlighting their biblical symbolism.

The final stop was Kaup Beach, where the parishioners spent some peaceful moments by the seaside. After this refreshing break, the group returned to Derebail at 7:00 PM.

The pilgrimage was a spiritually enriching and joyful experience for all participants, fostering community bonding and deeper faith.
