An Evening with the Lord in the Blessed Sacrament : Special Prayer for Married Couples

The Commission for Family and Liturgy, The Most Holy Redeemer Church Derebail organized a special and prayerful evening with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament for the married couples of the parish on Friday, 29 September, 2023.

The celebration began with the Holy Eucharist presided over by Fr. Kevin D'Souza. After the Mass Fr. Joseph Martis, the Parish priest invited all the couples to participate in the adoration. Fr. Kevin animated the adoration with excellent singing, reflection and an act of consecration of the couples before the Blessed Sacrament. More than 300 couples participated in the event. It was a spiritually fulfilling and enlivening moment. The couples who participated felt profoundly the presence of the Lord and experienced His abounding blessings. 

As we celebrate the Year of the Family and conclude the Anti-drug month, it was a befitting spiritual exercise. Once again an opportunity for the couples to rededicate themselves to each other and their commitment towards the family before the Blessed Sacrament. The evening was joyful, delightful and resourceful. All enjoyed the spiritual blessings from the Lord.
