Yuva Spandan Derebail (YSD-ICYM) Spreads Festive Cheer with Christmas Card-Making Competition

The festive season gained a creative spark as Yuva Spandan Derebail (YSD-ICYM) organized a delightful Christmas Card-Making Competition for Derebail parishioners on December 15, 2024. The event, held in the church meeting hall, brought together participants of all ages to showcase their artistic talents and Christmas spirit.

A total of 39 enthusiastic participants were divided into four categories:

Category 1: Class 1 to Class 3

Category 2: Class 4 to Class 7

Category 3: Class 8 to Class 10

Category 4: Open to all

Registrations began soon after the 9:00 AM Mass, accompanied by light refreshments that set a cheerful tone for the day. The competition started at 10:30 AM and continued until 12:00 PM, with participants pouring their creativity into crafting beautiful and meaningful Christmas cards.

The entries will be judged by a panel based on creativity, originality, and alignment with the Christmas theme. Winners from each category will be announced during the new year mass eve.

This joyful event not only highlighted the artistic talents within the parish but also fostered a sense of community and celebration. Yuva Spandan Derebail’s initiative added a special touch to the festive season, creating cherished memories for everyone involved.
