International Women's Day Celebration at Kelarai Church: Members of Sthree Sangatan Derebail Participate

A celebration of International Women's Day was conducted by St Peter's City Vicariate at Kelarai Church on 19 March, 2023. Eleven parishes of the City Vicariate participated in the event. Dr. Lavina Noronha, Rev.Fr.James D'Souza, Vicar Forane, City Vicariate, Rev.Fr.Jospeh Mascarenhas, Spiritual Director, Sthree Sangatan, City Vicariate were the Chief Guests and Speakers of the day. Outstanding women performers in various sectors of society were honoured. Mrs.Lydia Dcosta of Gollachil ward was honoured for her service in the parish and in Lions club activities. Mrs. Sheela D'Souza of Konchady ward was felicitated for holding an important post in the Parish Council of the parish. 
This was followed by a cultural programme where women from almost all the parishes belonging to different age groups participated.
