Sharing the Joy of Giving at Christmas: Visit to Snehadeep

On the evening of 12 December, 2023, 20 members of Chowki Ward,  along with Gurkar Ronald Rodrigues and ward representatives, visited Snehadeep, a shelter for destitute girls. Approximately 27 school-going children reside at the ashram. The  inmates of the ashram warmly introduced themselves and shared details about their education. Following this, a sincere thank-you prayer was offered, expressing gratitude for the provisions of groceries, detergents, clothes, and other daily necessities.

This visit offered a valuable opportunity to understand the challenges faced by these children and to empathize with their circumstances. Mrs. Tabassum, the Director of Snehadeep,  deserves  praise  for her compassion  and goodness towards  these less fortunate children.
