Pawsa Kann & Gurkar Elections Back

Pawsa Kann was organized on July 16 2017 at the residence of Mrs.Eliza D'souza (Mr.Denis D'souza). The programme began at 5.00 P.M with the regular ward meeting. Mr. Darryl Dsouza welcomed the gathering and the meeting continued till 5.30 P.M. Election proceedings for Ward Gurkar followed. It was conducted by the Parish Resident Fr. Gracian Alvares. The Ward members elected, on Majority Mrs. Sheela Dsouza as the new Gurkarn. Following the elections, the Guests of the Day- Parish Priest  Fr.Austin Peres, Vice President, Mr. Edward Coelho and Secretary, Mrs. Lizzie Fernandes accompanied by the Co-ordinator of central S.C.C. Committee Mr. Gerald Castelino- felicitated the Ex-Gurkar, Mr. Alwyn Carvalho. Gratitude was expressed by Mr.Alwyn Carvalho for supporting him throughout his tenure of 10 years of service as Gurkar. Message was delivered by our Parish Priest on the importance of participation of ward members in Ward Activities. Fr. Gracian Alvares said the grace before meals followed by sumptuous Dinner 'Pawsa Kann'served around 7 P.M. Pawsa Kann comprised of about 20 items prepared by the ward members with love, energy and enthusiasm. Around 70 members including the guests were present. Ms.Jenifer Carlo compered the programme.
