Parapade Lower Ward' Service Visit to Infant Jesus Bala Ashram,Maryhill

The members of Parapade Lower ward visited Infant Jesus Bala Ashram, Maryhill, on Sunday 28th June at 4.30pm. A total of 38 ward members participated in this service activity.

The visit began with a prayer, Word of God and kannada song by the ward gurkar Mr.Ozwald D'souza. The Superior of the ashram Sr.Premalatha warmly welcomed the gathering. There were 33 girls from 2nd to 8th standard, from poor families.

Mrs Juliet Dsilva was the master of ceremonies.
Mrs.Shanti sequeira planned various indoor games for kids, and their active participation was truly enjoyable to observe.
Mr.Robert Dsilva thanked all the ward members for their support and efforts. He also expressed his gratitude to Sr. Premalatha and the other staff at the orphanage.

The winners of the games were rewarded with prizes. The programme ended with sweets and refreshments.

The ward members donated provisions that were required by the house.
