Journey to the Cross: Kottara Ward Upholds this Tradition of Faith for the Third Year

Among the several events organised in the ward to strengthen unity and grow spiritually, the Way of the cross in the Lenten season is a significant one. Starting on the first day after Ash Wednesday, the Cross was taken to each house and completed its journey just before Maundy Thursday.

Women's Day Celebration at Kottara Ward 

'Blessed & Beautiful' was the theme of the Women's day celebration held at Kottara ward on 3rd March at 'Remliz', the residence of Mrs. Lizzy D'silva.

Pre-Exam Prayer Service and Blessings: Kottara Ward's Special Initiative for Children of Derebail Parish

The children and youth of Kottara ward gathered at the residence of Mrs.Lizzy Dsilva for a pre- exam blessing prayer service. A total of 23 youth from the ward and 3 others-who attended upon invitation- were present.

The Konchady Ward members came together at the residence of Mr. Victor and Mrs. Jessy Pinto on 15th December ,2024 at 6:30 PM for the ward meeting followed by a joyous Christmas gathering.

On 9 December 2024, the Parapade Hills Ward hosted a Carol Singing event. The members of the ward gathered at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Pramila Ronald Furtado at 4:30 PM, dressed in formal attire featuring combinations of red and white or black.

Parapade Hills ward celebrates Children's Day

On November 28, 2024, the Parapade Hills ward came together to celebrate Children's Day at the home of Mr. Denzil and Mrs. Lizzie Fernandes. The festivities commenced at 5:30 p.m. with a ward meeting attended by 30 members.
