Monthi Fest at Landlinks Lower Ward

The ward members of Landlinks Lower Ward jointly celebrated 'Monthi Fest' (Nativity of Blessed Virgin Mary) on 11 September, 2022 at the residence of Mr.Alex Lobo. 

To begin with, the ward members began the Ward Meeting at 6pm. At 7pm the ward members welcomed the Parish Priest Rev.Fr.Joseph Martis and Rev.Fr.Gerald Pinto for the celebration. A short formal programme was conducted, where the children of the ward who had excelled in their academics were felicitated. It was indeed a proud moment for the ward members as they appreciated and felicitated Rodney Ralf Pinto for successfully clearing the C.A. finals. To mark the occasion of Teachers Day that is widely celebrated on September 5, six teachers of the ward were honoured during the programme. 

The dignitaries Rev.Fr.Joseph Martis and Rev.Fr.Gerald Pinto appreciated the efforts of the ward members. The Gurkar of the Ward Mrs.Wilma D'almeida extended her heartfelt gratitude towards the ward members for their presence and whole hearted cooperation. 

This was followed by the fellowship meal that all the ward members had gathered to savour as a family. The responsibility of cooking the festival delicacies was shouldered by the ward members. The ward members relished the meal as one big family.

A total of 49 members participated in the celebration.
