Members of Chowki Ward Embark on a Day's Pilgrimage

The members of Chowki ward embarked on a day's pilgrimage to Kerala on 12 May 2026. A total of 28 members participated in the trip, making it a joyful, prayerful, and memorable experience for everyone.

The journey began at 6:45 AM from Malemar to Mangalore Railway Station, from where the members boarded the 7.20 AM train to Kerala. During the train journey, the members enjoyed breakfast together, shared laughter, and spent quality time with one another.

At 9:30 AM, the members arrived at Payyangadi Railway Station. From there, they travelled by bus to the Pet Station and reached at 10:30 AM. Here time was spent exploring the place, watching the animals, and capturing beautiful photographs until 12:00 PM.

After visiting the Pet Station, the journey continued by bus to Mother Petra Home, Pattuvam, Kerala. The journey became even more enjoyable as the members danced, sang songs, and played games together. At Mother Petra Home, the ward members prayed together, had lunch, and visited the museum, which gave meaningful and inspiring experience.

At 2:30 PM, the members  proceeded to Vilakannur, Kerala, and reached there at 3:30 PM. There they spent time in prayer and experienced a peaceful and devotional atmosphere that brought spiritual joy to everyone. Later, at 4:30 PM, tea and snacks were served.

At 5:00 PM, the return journey to the railway station began. At 7:00 PM, the members boarded the train back to Mangalore and finally reached home safely at 10:00 PM with many happy memories, moments of togetherness, and God’s blessings.
