Konchady Ward II Celebrates the Feast of the Nativity of Blessed Virgin Mary

The Feast of the Nativity of Blessed Virgin Mary was celebrated with great devotion and joy by the members of Konchady Ward II on 13 September 2026. To begin with, the members took part in the Ward Zamath after which they offered flowers to Mother Mary. Prayers for various intentions were also offered to Mother Mary. 

Mrs Meena Lobo, Gurkar of the Ward, distributed the blessed grain to the ward members who peeled, crushed and mixed them into the payasam, as a symbol of unity and togetherness. The payasam was distributed to all those who were present. The ward members savoured the payasam as a family and expressed their joy over the same. A total of 30 members were present for the celebration.
