The families of Konchady ward II enjoyed a delightful day out at Rivershine Kayaking Resort Mulki on 1st May 2026 from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. A special bus was arranged and the journey began at 8.30am. The members reached the  picnic spot at 9.30am and were welcomed and guided into the venue by the guide. 

The day began with a prayer and hymn, setting a peaceful and joyful tone for the day. After a hearty breakfast, members took part in a series of fun-filled activities. A variety of games kept everyone energised and engaged throughout. The resort’s location by the river, combined with a refreshing breeze, added to the comfort and enjoyment of the outing. Boating and Kayaks added to the merriment.
The day was filled with games, singing, dancing, music, interaction, and walks around the premises. Exploring the riverbed and catching shellfish together was exciting and a memorable experience for all.  Special highlights included river play and the rain dance, which delighted the members, while Housie and other games kept everyone entertained and involved. Photo sessions captured joyful moments, and members also found their own spaces to relax and connect with one another.

Delicious food was served. Snacks and soft drinks kept participants energised throughout the day. Evening tea provided the perfect boost to conclude the activities. Everybody celebrated the joy of nature, unplugging themselves from daily life.

Singing together on the bus during the onward journey and the ride back added the finishing touch to a day that left everyone feeling young, energetic, and full of cheer. At the end, members expressed their gratitude to the organisers and thanked the Almighty through hymns and praises.
