Kadjahithulu Ward Visits Veronica Vihar Ashram

The members of the Kadjahithulu Ward of Most Holy Redeemer Church, Derebail, visited Veronica Vihar Ashram, Mary Hill, on Sunday, 9th August, as an initiative to share love, joy and fellowship with the residents of the Ashram.

The ward members were warmly welcomed by Sr. Merlin A.C. and the other sisters of the Ashram. Mrs. Canoline Lasrado served as the Master of Ceremonies and guided the programme smoothly. The programme began with a prayer song, followed by lively dance performances by the ward children and youth, creating an atmosphere of joy and togetherness.

As part of the programme, Gurkar Rakesh D'Cunha conducted two fun games for the residents of the Ashram. The games brought much enthusiasm and happiness to everyone. Sr. Maria Jyothi A.C., Founder of Veronica Vihar Ashram, shared her thoughts about the Ashram and expressed her gratitude for the ward's visit and fellowship.

Mr. Rolf D'Souza, a senior ward member, distributed prizes to the winners of the games. Mr. Vincent Rebello, a senior ward leader, shared the ward members' experience and reflections on the visit.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by the Gurkar, expressing gratitude to the sisters, staff, children, ward members and everyone who contributed to making the visit meaningful. Snacks were then distributed to the residents and participants.

The evening concluded on a prayerful note with Marian hymns, followed by a few memorable photographs. The visit was a beautiful experience of faith, friendship, service and sharing, leaving everyone with joyful memories and grateful hearts.
