Special Adoration for the Youth of the Country and the People of Assam
The Young Catholic Students (YCS) Unit of The Most Holy Redeemer Church, Derebail, Mangaluru, organised Adoration on Friday, 31 July 2026, following the 5:30 p.m. Holy Mass, to pray for the youth of the country and the people of Assam suffering due to floods.
The prayer service was prayerfully led by Rev. Fr. Joseph Martis, who guided the faithful in adoration before the Blessed Sacrament, accompanied by the YCS Choir. As a symbol of faith, hope and solidarity, the youth reverently lit candles, offering their prayers for peace, healing, strength and protection for the people of Assam and for the youth of our nation. Through Scripture readings, moments of silent prayer, devotional hymns, and reflections, the congregation united in seeking God's blessings upon all those facing difficulties.
The gathering witnessed the active participation of parishioners and YCS members, who came together in faith and unity, entrusting the intentions of the nation to the Lord. The evening concluded with the Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament, leaving everyone spiritually enriched and inspired to continue praying for unity, compassion and lasting peace.
