Kadhjahithlu Ward Meetings Resume: A Fresh Beginning Post Lockdown

The members of Kadhjahithlu ward got together for a ward meeting for the first time after the outbreak of the Covid 19 Pandemic and Lockdown on 5th December,2021 at the residence of Mrs.Leena Lasrado. The meeting commenced at 4.30PM with a short prayer service. The Gurkar Mr.Rakesh Dcunha welcomed the gathering and led the meeting. The minutes of the previous meeting were read by Mrs.Reshma Lasrado. The Gurkar briefed the members about 'Synod' and spoke on Pope Francis inviting the whole church to question itself on synodality, the meaning, creation. The Gurkar also spoke about the 21 Commissions within the church and introduced the ward members who are a part of these various commissions.It was decided that the ward would have Carol singing and practice would be held at the residence of Mrs.Clara Nazareth.

Mrs Lavina Lobo gave the Vote of Thanks. The ward members were indeed happy to have met each other for ward meetings after a long break. Refreshments were served at the end of the meeting.
