Church Ward Members Celebrate Monthi Fest

The Church Ward celebrated 'Monthi Fest' on 22nd September 2024, on the rooftop of Habitat one 54. 

The programme began at 19.00 hrs sharp, after the Ward meeting. It was graced by Vicar Rev. Fr. Joseph Martis and Rev Fr. Rex, a guest priest and a former student of Fr. Martis during his  tenure as Rector of St Joseph's seminary. Mrs. Sheela D'Souza, the Vice President of Parish Pastoral council and Mr Anil Patrao, Convenor of 21 commissions were the Guests of Honour.

Mrs Clara Miranda, the Gurkaar welcomed the Vicar, the guests of honour and all the ward members.
Later, the stage was lit bright, by the scintillating perfomances of the ward members, Miss Ethan Dsouza, Mrs Sabitha Fernandes, Mr.Reuben Machado, Mrs.Anusha Machado  and Mrs. Jane Machado.

Rev. Fr. Joseph Martis, in his short message reiterated that all the Church Ward members should be proactive in the parish activities, as they reside in the close proximity of the church. He also shared with the gathering the tragedy that struck Fr. Rex's family during the tsunami.
Mrs Sheela and Mr. Anil, distributed the prizes to the winners of the spot games. Mr. Ronald Sequeira, the Representative of the Church ward proposed the vote of thanks. Rev Fr. Rex invoked the grace on the meals.The programme concluded with NOVEN JEVAAN' prepared by the ward members.
