Children of Parapade Lower Ward Lead the Ward Meeting 

The SCC prayer for the Parapade Lower Ward took place at the residence of Mr.Robert and Mrs. Juliet Dsilva on 12th July 2026 at 4.30pm. The meeting was led by the children of the ward.

The meeting commenced commencing with a hymn. Rion D silva welcomed the Parish Priest Rev.Fr. Joseph Martis and also extended a warm welcome to the Gurkar and all ward members.

Pratham Pais led the gathering into prayer.
The seven steps of the meeting were facilitated by baby Anora D'souza.
The scripture reading was taken from the letter to the Rom.8:9-11 and was read by Pratham pais,Aaron Dsouza and Sophia.The children selected the lines 'The spirit of God 'as their guiding message for the upcoming days. The children offered personal prayers.
The seven steps of the meeting was concluded with recitation of "Our Father' and a hymn of the holy family.

Fr.Joseph Martis appreciated and congratulated the children for conducting the meeting with such devotion and clarity. He also appreciated the ward gurkar and all the parents. Fr. Martis concluded by wishing all the children a bright and successful future.

The secretary, Mrs.Lora Correa provided a report on the previous ward meeting.
Ward Gurkar, Mr. Ozwald organised spot games and prizes were distributed by the parish priest to the winners. The children of the ward  were given gifts for taking leadership in the ward meeting.

Members of the ward celebrating their birthday in the month of July were given flowers.
Expressing his gratitude, the gurkar thanked Fr.Martis for his presence and guidance.

Finally refreshments were graciously provided to all attendees by the host family.
