CHILDREN OF LANDLINKS UPPER WARD LEAD THE SCC WARD MEETING 

The Ward prayer meeting of the Landlinks upper ward was held at the residence of Mr. Ronald Vaz on 19th July 2026 at 4:30 p. m. The prayer gathering was wonderfully conducted by the children of the ward, making it a joyful and faith-filled occasion for everyone present.
The meeting commenced with the hymn- “vandithanv varnithanv”, followed by the welcoming of the ward gurkar Mrs. Wilma Cardoza and all those gathered by Mr. Ronald Vaz. 

Amabel D’cunha then prayerfully led the congregation through the Seven Steps of the SCC meeting. The initial prayer of inviting Jesus amidst the gathering was led by Angelica Andrade.The Scripture passage from Romans 8:9-11 was read by Ayona and Arnold D’cunha. The children selected “Spirit of God” as the word to guide and inspire them in the coming days. The children participated throughout the service with prayers and devotion. 
 
Mrs.Diana Pinto read the minutes of the last meeting and reviewed the services carried out after the last meeting. The gurkar also added the upcoming events of our parish and asked the ward members to actively take part in it.

A list of the members celebrating their birthdays in the month of July was read by Ancia Andrade and were greeted by the ward members.

The children were asked to introduce themselves and were encouraged to perform anything of their choice. Chelsia recited a Konkani poem which was applauded by all.

Chelsia Castelino proposed the vote of thanks. The meeting concluded with the hymn- “Bhagevanth kutma”. Mr.Ronald Vaz and his family generously served refreshments to everyone present.

The ward meeting was attended by 29 members including 11 children,14 ladies, and 4 men.
