Celebration of Pavsa Gammat at Parapade Lower Ward.

On Sunday, 10th August 2025 the members of Parapade Lower Ward gathered for a ward meeting and pausa gammat celebration at the residence of Mrs.Felcy  D Souza at 5.30 pm.
The event was attended by 57 members including Parish Priest Rev.Fr Joseph Martis, Associate Parish Priest Rev. Fr.Steevan Nelson Peris, Vce President of PPC Mrs. Sheela Dsouza, Secretary Mr. Denzil Pinto, Coordinator of 21 Commissions Mr.Anil Patrao and Sr.Shamala.

Mr.Shailesh D Souza welcomed the august gathering. Sr.Shamala conducted the meeting as prerak.
The pausa gammat event started at 6.00 pm. The ward gurkar Mr.Ozwald D Souza gave an introductory speech and floral welcome to the guests. A welcome dance performed by a rising star of the ward baby Anora.Mr.Edward Sequeira gave an overview of the Pavsa Gammath. The Parish Priest gave an inspiring message, praising the families of the ward and the leaders for organising the wonderful event. 

A short skit 'Sarg ya Yemkod' was then staged by Mr.Ozwald and Mr. Robert D silva.  Spot games were conducted by Mrs.Shanti Sequeira.  Fr Joseph Martis distributed the prize to the winners.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Mrs Juliet D Silva.

Rev.Fr.Joseph Martis invoked the almighty's blessings on the food and on the families who were present.
Rev.Fr. Joseph Martis inaugurated the delicacies. The food was enjoyed by all making the event a grand success.The entire event was hosted by Liva Sequeira.
