Akashbhavan Ward Celebrates Elders Day

The members of Akashbhavan Ward celebrated Elders day on 19 July, 2022 . A special mass was offered by Rev.Fr.Joseph Martis at 10 A.M. at the residence of Mrs.Ivy Pinto. 14 elderly members along with 16 ward members, Fr.Gerald Pinto and Mrs. Sheela D'Souza participated in the celebration.
Special prayers were recited and the elderly members were anointed. Fr.Jospeh Martis presented the elderly members with mementos and candles. The parish priest visited the houses of two elderly members who were not able to attend the Eucharistic celebration.  They were also presented with mementos and candles. The celebration concluded with a fellowship meal.
