Yuva Spandan Derebail (YSD/ICYM) holds Taizé Prayer

On the 16th of February, 2019 Yuva Spandan Derebail (YSD/ICYM) organized Taizé Prayer at the Most Holy Redeemer Church, Derebail at 06:30 PM.

Taizé Prayer Service began with bajans which were sung in English, Kannada, Konkani and Hindi. Along with bajans Alleluia was sung in Konkani. Then a part of the Holy Scripture was read. This was followed by hymns and prayers of the faithful. Later people who had gathered for Taizé prayer had an opportunity to offer their personal intentions before the Cross. Later Rev. Fr. Gratian Alvares, Associate Director of YSD/ICYM Derebail Unit had laid the cross down for personal adoration. The Taizé Prayer Service then concluded.

Enthusiastic Youth of YSD/ICYM Derebail had beautifully arranged the altar with diyas. At the centre of the altar a Holy Crucifix was placed. Taizé prayer service was conducted by Mr Norbert. The melodious choir was led by YSD/ICYM Choir members. People who had attended Taizé prayer service have definitely experienced the Lord amidst them more closely and differently.
