Welcome to the New Assistant Parish Priest Fr Anil Lobo Back

When Rev.Fr.Vinod Lobo left for Pune from Derebail Parish, a void was definitely created in the lives of many parishioners, for he had influenced the lives of many. However, coming to terms with the reality, the parishioners were eager to welcome their next Assistant Parish Priest. On Thursday i.e the 28^th of May, 2015 many parishioners gathered near the entrance of the church to welcome the new Assistant Parish Priest.

Rev. Fr.Anil Lobo arrived at sharp 5.00PM with a lot of youngsters and priests who had to come to bid him adieu. Fr. Anil. Lobo was the Assistant Director at the Pastoral Institute of Mangalore Diocese. Fr. Anil.Lobo was accorded a warm welcome by the Parish Priest Rev.Fr.Peter Dsouza , other members of Parish Pastoral Council and many other parishioners. He was given a floral welcome by Fr.Peter D’souza and Mr.Anil.Patrao. This was followed by a short prayer in the church. After the prayer the parishioners were given a brief introduction about Fr.Anil Lobo.

Rev. Fr.Anil Lobo then addressed the parishioners. He thanked all those who had come to drop him till Derebail. He acknowledged with a grateful heart the love that they had for him. Fr. Anil. Lobo then recited a thanksgiving prayer after which members of different associations of the Church came to give him their token of welcome in the form of flowers. Later refreshments were served for all those who had been a part of this gathering.
