Way of the Cross: Passion Sunday, 2022

The parishioners of Most Holy Redeemer Church, Derebail gathered for a special Way of the Cross on 10th April, 2022 at the Holy Family School Grounds. The Way of the Cross began at 5 PM.

A statue of Jesus with the Cross and Mother Mary was carried to every station during the Way of the Cross. The choir sung hymns after each station.

After the Way of the Cross, the parishioners proceeded from the grounds to the church in a procession. Rev.Fr. Rahul Dexter D'Souza preached about the significance of the cross. He said that one must not ask God to remove the cross from one's life , rather one must ask God to give the strength to bear with the same.

The service concluded with devotees walking in line and kissing statues of Jesus with the cross and Mother Mary.
