Vespers (Besph) 2019

On the eve of the annual parish feast the Vespers (Besph) was celebrated with great devotion and zeal at Most Holy Redeemer Church on Saturday 2nd November 2019 at 6.00 P.M.

Rev Fr. Austin Peter Peres parish priest celebrated the mass. In his Homily he said that one needs to follow three things in life. First is to have intense desire to encounter Jesus; Second when you take the first step Jesus takes all the other steps and third Jesus does not ask us to change rather through the love of Jesus , we transform ourselves.

After the 5 P.M. mass the statue of Most Holy Redeemer was brought in grand procession to the church and placed on the altar. Fr. Austin conducted the Vespers wherein the Word of God was read .Prayer of the faithful was read by Fr Gracian Alvares.

The festive ambience could be experienced through stalls that were put up by various organisations. The church as well as the premise was brightly illuminated .
