Pilgrimage to Mudipu Shrine Back

Pope Francis has declared this year as the year of Mercy. As a part of this year of Mercy, Derebail parish had organised one day pilgrimage to Mudipu Shrine. A group of 50 members under the leadership of parish clergy reached Mudipu ShriÅ„e on March 11th at 10.30 AM. Every Friday there is novena to St Joseph Vas. Pilgrims took part in the adoration and mass. On the way back we visited Rishivana a centre for meditation and spirituality at Ranipura. Fr Vincent Menezes conducted a short meaningful way of the cross. Both parish priest and asst parish priest were present with the group.
