Parishioners Bid Good-bye to Fr.Gerald Pinto

After having spent three fruitful years at Derebail Parish, Rev.Fr.Gerald Pinto assumed charge at Guardian Angel Church, Angelore on Wednesday, 17 May 2023. 

The parishioners of Most Holy Redeemer Church Derebail assembled at the church premises at 3.30 PM to bid adieu and accompany Fr.Gerald to his new parish . Rev.Fr.Joseph Martis, Parish Priest and Rev.Fr.Kevin, Assistant Parish Priest of Derebail Parish led a short prayer service before setting forth on their journey to Angelore with Fr.Gerald Pinto.

As a mark of respect and gratitude, many parishioners joined Fr.Gerald to Angelore parish where he was given a floral welcome by Rev.Fr.William Menezes, Parish Priest and dignitaries at Angelore Parish. 

Fr.Lawrence Cutinho, Assistant Parish Priest of Angelore parish read the Word of God and Fr.William led a small prayer.  

The Vice President of the Parish Pastoral Council Mr. Paul Rodrigues welcomed the gathering. Fr. Gerald Pinto expressed his gratitude and assured his new parishioners the best of his services. Mrs.Lorina D'Souza, Secretary PPC Angelore rendered the Vote of thanks.
