Most Holy Redeemer Church Conducts Vaccination Camp

A Free Covid Vaccination Camp was held at Derebail Church Hall on 17th September, 2021. The camp was organised by Yuva Spandan Derebail - ICYM, Derebail Parish Sports Club and Lion's Club Lady hill.  

Preceeding the vaccination , a formal programme was conducted. Rev Fr Austin Peres Parish Priest, Rev Fr Gerald Pinto Residential Priest, Mr.Shashidhar Hegde the Area Corporator, Mrs.Nora D'Costa Lion's Club President, Mrs.Sheela D'Souza the  Vice President of Parish Pastoral Council, Mr.Sandesh Mascarenhas Derebail Parish Sports Club President and Mr. Manish Pinto Yuva Spandan Derebail President were the dignitaries on the dias. The programme began by invoking God's presence. Ms.Primal welcomed the gathering. Fr Austin and Shashidhar Hedge addressed the gathering.The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Mrs. Lydia D'Costa. Mr. Sheldon Crasta was the compere for the inaugural programme.

The students of Maps College and the nursing students of Sri Devi College of Nursing facilitated the smooth functioning of the vaccination drive through their assistance in the registration process.  Around 280 members were vaccinated by the Primary Health Center Bejai. The response that this Vaccination Drive achieved was indeed tremendous.
