"Mission Possible" – A Programme for Young Couples

A short programme titled Mission Possible - Young Couples Care Session was held on the Sunday, May 25 ,2025 at Most Holy Redeemer Church, Derebail organised by the Family commission and Missionary Families of Christ (MFC) Mangalore.  It helped  guide young couples in building strong, Christ-centered families and to understand their roles as husbands and wives. Attended by 27 couples , the event began with an opening prayer by Mr.Cyprian, Family commision Incharge  followed by an address by  Rev. Fr Joseph Martis , Parish Priest who emphasized the family as the domestic church and importance of continually working for the betterment of family. The Assistant Parish priests, Fr Kevin and Fr Nelson; Parish Council President Mrs.Sheila Dsouza; Coordinator of 21 Commissions Mr.Anil Patrao , and Family Comission Secretary Mrs.Dora Dcunha were also present for the programme

The session was delivered by Melvin & Neeta Fernandes - MFC Couple, who shared about the role of a Christian husband and wife  in a family and gave practical insights and shared their personal experiences 

Overall, the programme was very helpful and encouraging for all couples, reaffirming that with God, and understanding our individual roles, building a strong Christian family is truly a mission possible.
