FUN FILLED PRAYER SESSION FOR THE LITTLE CHILDREN

The Last Sunday of every month is a fun filled day for the little children of Most Holy Redeemer Parish. This interactive programme is specially conducted for the little kids of Std 1, 2 and 3. Fr. Anil Lobo the Assistant Parish Priest was filled with enthusiasm wherein kids enjoyed his interaction.

The Theme for this month was “The Prodigal Son” or we can also call it “The Father’s love towards his lost sinful son”. The session started with a prayer and a hymn “Krishthaso Moog tho”.

Thereafter Fr. Anil Lobo interacted with kids teaching the values of love. Then he narrated the parable of “The prodigal son” and the YSD volunteers enacted the same. The room was filled with laughter when there was an entry of a pig. The Kids thoroughly enjoyed the skit. The kids were then entertained by action songs “God’s Love it’s so wonderful”, “Davidne Goliyath ko Gopan se mara” “TringTring Cycle Gadi”. The programme concluded with the hymn “There shall be showers of blessings” while Fr. Anil blessed each and every kid present.

Fr. Anil Lobo was delighted with the active participation of our little kids.  The team who lent their support include Mrs.Jasmine D’Souza, Sheldon Alvares, Preston Sequeira, Prajwal Sequeira, Kevin Suares, Jennifer Pinto, Jennifer Carlo, Avinash D’souza, Evon Sequeira and Ivy Dsouza .The kids were taken care of by the Catechism teachers Mrs Oreen, Mrs Lorretto and Mrs  Helen. This programme focuses on befriending kids with love of Jesus and teaching them Christian values. Refreshments were then served.
