Conclusion of the Amoris Laetitia - Year of the Family

Amoris laetitia Year of the Family, will conclude on 26th June, 2022. In this context, the Holy Father has invited all of us to celebrate a “Week of the Family” from June 22 to 26. A few concrete suggestions are given to us by the diocesan Commission for family life to make this week fruitful. 

1. Wednesday, 22nd June - A short reflection on the holiness of Family life during the Holy Mass.

2. Thursday, 23rd June, participate in a special prayer and Mass for Family Life held at St Lawrence Minor Basilica, Karkala, Attur from 9.00 a.m. to 12.30 noon.

3. Friday, 24th June. Have special prayers for the Family during the evening Adoration

4. Saturday, 25th June, participate in the conclusion ceremony of the Year of the Family at the Pastoral Centre, Bajjodi from 9.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. ( the parish coordinator of the Family Commission)

5. Sunday, 26th June, organize a closing ceremony of the Year of the Family at the Parish level.

I request all our parishioners to participate in a very special way in the Week of the Family through our prayers, and also by taking part in the Holy Mass and Adoration during the week days.
