Celebration of All Saints and the Faithful Departed at Derebail Parish

The first two days of November constitute very meaningful and spiritually blessed for the catholic community all over the world. Derebail Parish participated prayerfully in these two events: namely Feast of All Saints and the Memory of the Faithful Departed. On Wednesday, 1st November, the parish organized solemn Eucharistic celebration rejoicing with all the saints and praying through their intercession. Saints are greatest gifts in our lives. On Thursday 2nd November we fondly remembered all our dear departed brothers and sisters. We thanked the Lord for the gift of their life to our families, Parish and society and prayed for them. As a mark of our respect and devotion we visited the Cemetery. Fr Joseph Martis, the Parish Priest animated the prayer service assisted by Fr Kevin. Both the days were days of blessings and prayers. A large number of parishioners participated in the Eucharistic celebration and the visit to the Cemetery.
