Catechism Inauguration for the year 2017-2018 Back

The Catechism classes commenced on Sunday 11th June 2017. Children came with joy and enthusiasm for the catechism classes. The inauguration of the catechism year was organised during the mass at 9.15 am. After the entrance hymn the catechism classes for the year 2017-2018 was formally inaugurated. The Holy Bible was honoured. One representative from each class along with the teachers followed by the Vice President of Parish Pastoral Council Mr. Edward Coelho, the Secretary of Parish Pastoral Council Mrs. Lizzy Fernandes honoured the Holy bible by placing flowers n garland. Parish Priest Fr.Austin Peres was the main celebrant, Fr.Walter and Fr.Clive were the concelebrants for the mass.

All the catechism teachers took oath towards maintaining their commitment towards Catholic faith by teaching catechism. The entire liturgy was conducted by the teachers. The children's choir added to the solemnity of the mass.
