YSD-ICYM Derebail Pays Visit to St. Anthony's Ashram Jeppu

YSD-ICYM Derebail organized a visit to St. Anthony’s Ashram, Jeppu, on 12th October 2025. A total of 20 youth took part in this meaningful visit. The group had taken a commitment to spend quality time with the destitute and share moments of joy and companionship.

Rev. Fr. Praveen Martis, the Administrator of the Ashram, warmly welcomed the youth and encouraged everyone to make the most of the experience by spreading smiles and happiness among the residents. Feona Pereira served as the host for the programme.

The event began with a prayer service, followed by the introduction of the Animator, President, Secretary, and other members of the YSD unit. The youth conducted fun-filled games, performed action songs, and presented a vibrant dance performance that brought cheer to the gathering. Several inmates also came forward to sing songs.

The youth thoroughly enjoyed interacting with the residents and sharing in their laughter. It was a truly touching and memorable experience that left everyone feeling grateful and inspired. Towards the end, the youth presented grocery items and other essentials as a token of love to the Ashram.

The visit not only strengthened the spirit of service among the youth but also reminded everyone of the joy found in giving and caring for others.
