"Trace Your Hunt": Treasure Hunt Organized by YSD/ICYM

Derebail YSD / ICYM organized a treasure hunt called "Trace Your Hunt" for the youth of Derebail Parish on July 28, 2024,. Fr Joseph Martis, Fr. Kevin dsouza, Br Chinappa and animator Mrs Lizzie Fernandes  were present. Fr Kevin started the event by wishing everyone good luck and inspiring all the participants to give their best and enjoy the challenge.

There were 24 participants divided into six groups of four each. Both prior and on-spot registrations were available. After registering, everyone enjoyed some refreshments. The treasure hunt took place in the church premises and was partially conducted online.

The game began at 10:45 AM. Reachel read the instructions and Evangel explained the game. Each group had a leader who played the spoon lemon race to get a QR code for joining a WhatsApp group to receive hints. Around 17 YSD members were present as volunteers, with six volunteers assigned to each group to share the hints.

Group 4, consisting Leona, Lenn, Rishon, and Amabell won the event. There were seven stages leading to the final treasure, which was the idea for YSD's next event. Fr. Joseph and Br. Chinappa gave prizes to the winners and congratulated them and praised YSD for their successful event.

The event ended at 11.30am with a group picture.
