The Christian Life Community Day Celebration - 2025
The members of CLC celebrated the Christian Life Community Day with great joy and fellowship on 8th December. The celebration began with a solemn and spiritually enriching Holy Mass at 5:30 PM. The Eucharistic celebration set the tone for an evening of gratitude, unity, and reflection on the mission of CLC.
Following the Mass, a short cultural and programme was organized. The programme commenced at 6:30 PM, graciously compered by Ms. Sancia D'Cunha, who ensured the smooth flow of events with her warm and lively presence.
Mr. Rovin D’Souza extended a heartfelt welcome to the dignitaries and guests present for the celebration. He warmly greeted Rev Fr Joseph Martis, Parish Priest; Rev. Fr. Nelson Peris, Assistant Parish Priest; Rev Fr Gratian Alvares, Parish Priest Nellyadi; Rev. Fr. Kevin Dsouza, Director Kripa Sadhana; Mrs Sheela D’Souza, Vice President of PPC; Mr Denzil Pinto, Secretary of PPC and YCLC Animator; Mr Anil Patrao, Coordinator 21 Commissions; Mr Gerald Concessao, President of senior CLC and Sr Juliana Telis. Their presence added grace to the event, recognizing the spiritual and administrative support they continually offer to the CLC.
Proceeding with the annual reports
Mrs Juliet D’Silva Senior CLC Secretary, presented the annual report of the Senior CLC, highlighting the various spiritual, charitable, and community-building activities carried out throughout the year.
Ms Reenal Menezes Youth CLC Secretary, presented the annual report of the Young CLC, showcasing the enthusiasm, leadership, and vibrant contributions of the youth to parish life. Mr Denzil Pinto briefed about 10 years service of the youth CLC. These reports reflected teamwork, dedication, and the growing participation of members in parish initiatives.
A special moment of the evening was dedicated to honoring members for their achievements and service, Cherish Pinto and Rishon Mascarenhas, from YCLC, were felicitated for their notable accomplishments, bringing pride to the community.
All YCLC Presidents and Secretaries from the year 2015 onwards were honored for their commitment, leadership, and contributions that have shaped the journey of the Young CLC over the years.
The felicitation ceremony served as a gesture of appreciation and motivation for continued active involvement.
The celebration included a blend of entertainment and delightful dance performance by the Senior CLC members, showcasing their enthusiasm and unity.
A short, humorous skit was enacted and it brought smiles and laughter to the audience.
An energetic dance performance by YCLC members, added vibrance and youthful spirit to the evening.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, acknowledging everyone who contributed to the success of CLC Day. The celebration ended with a delicious fellowship dinner, giving members an opportunity to bond, share experiences, and strengthen their sense of community.
Overall, the CLC Day Celebration 2025 was a memorable event filled with spirituality, gratitude, unity, and joyful participation. It reflected the mission of CLC—to grow together in faith and service.
