Sthreesangathan Enjoys Pavsa Gammath, a Fellowship Meal

The members of Sthreesangathan, Derebail enjoyed a burst of flavours as they got together for a fellowship meal, where traditional Rainy Season Delicacies were served. This event was held on 11 August, 2023 at the Meeting Hall of Most Holy Redeemer Church. Mrs. Felcy Lobo welcomed the Guests of Honour Rev.Fr. Joseph Martis, the Spiritual Director; Rev.Fr.Kevin D'Souza, Asst.Parish Priest; Mrs.Sheela D'Souza, Vice President PPC; Mr.Denzil Pinto, Secretary and Mr.Anil Patrao, Coordinator of 21 Commissions. 

The programme began with a prayer. Mrs. Merlyn Mascarenhas sang a song on rain written and composed by her. Mrs Juliet Fernandes recited a poem on pavsa gamat that she had composed for the occasion. Rev.Fr.Joseph Martis addressed the gathering. Rev.Fr.Kevin D'Souza said the grace before meals. The members of Sthreesangathan had prepared 18 dishes for everyone to relish.

Around 35 members were present for the event.
