Inauguration of Women's association - Sthree Sangatan

Inauguration of Women's association (Sthree Sangatan) was held on 10th March 2019 at 10.30 A.M. in the Residence Meeting Hall, Derebail Church.The dignitaries were Rev. Fr. Francis D'souza Director of DCCW, Rev. Fr. Austin Peres - Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Gratian Alvares - Residential Priest, Mrs.Terry Pais - President of Women's association at the Diocesan. Mrs Gretta D'souza - Secretary of Woman's associations at the Diocesan, Mr Edward Coelho - The Vice President of Parish Pastoral Council and Mrs Lizzy Fernandes - The Secretary of the Parish Pastoral Council. 

The session started with an opening prayer by Fr. Austin Peres followed by welcome speech by Mr. Edward Coelho.

Fr. Francis Dsouza through his speech enlightened us about the salient features of woman's association and it's benefits. Mrs. Gretta conducted the elections and the new association representatives are as follows: 

The event concluded with a Vote of thanks given by Mrs. Lizze Fernandes.
