Feast Of St. Cecilia

The Choir members of Our parish celebrated the feast of their patron saint St.Cecilia on 21st of November 2020. The celebration began with a solemn mass at 5:00 pm offered by Parish priest Rev. Fr. Austin Peter Peris and concelebrated by Rev. Fr. Walter Pinto. It was followed by a short programme, at the Church Meeting Hall. The formal programme commenced with a prayer song led by Mrs Juliana Coelho and team. Mrs Sheela D'Souza, President of Church choir welcomed the gathering, Secretary Lavina Quadros gave a detailed annual report, Mrs Juliana Coelho, treasurer read the financial report. Fr. Austin gave his message on the occasion and appreciated the members for their dedication and sacrifices. Mr Anil Patrao spoke a few words of inspiration and motivation. Mr Alwyn D'Cunha stated the importance of choir with an example and acknowledged all the members for their active participation in the church choir and called on to continue the same. The celebration continued with Various entertainment performances like dance by Ms Jassica Misquith, Mando led by Mr Anil Patrao and team. Few spot games were conducted during the programme. The Musicians were felicitated by Rev. Fr. Gerald Pinto. Mrs Lavina Quadros, Choir Secretary delivered the vote of thanks. The programme was compered by Mr Avinash Daniel D'Souza. Rev. Fr. Gerald Pinto prayed grace before the meal. The Celebration ended with a fellowship meal.
