Derebail Church Choir: Annual Picnic, 2022

Derebail Parish Choir members went on a day's picnic to a riverside Bungalow at Pavanje, Mukka on 4 October, 2022. The members got together at the Church premise at 9 in the morning and began their journey after taking blessings from the Parish Priest Rev.Fr.Joseph Martis and Fr.Gerald Pinto. 

The members recited a short prayer at Most Holy Redeemer Church before beginning their journey. On the way to the picnic spot the choir members sang and had a fun time on the bus. On reaching breakfast was served. 

Mrs Pramila Furtado and Mr.Edward Coelho conducted games. The choir members participated whole heartedly and enjoyed. 

After lunch, the members entertained each other with some songs. Reon Pinto, member of Children's Choir was rewarded with a small gift as a token of appreciation for his participation in Daijiworld's Jigi Bigi Taran.

Mrs.Pramila Furtado conducted Housie-Housie. The winners were awarded with cash prizes. 

The team then proceeded towards Panambur Beach. All the members enjoyed. The picnic came to a sweet halt after the members relished ice cream at Panambur Beach.

The Choir President Mrs.Sheela D'Souza thanked everyone for their presence and involvement in the day's programme. The picnic was a grand success
