Celebration of Pavsa Gammath by the Women's Association Derebail Mangalore

On 2nd August, 2025, Saturday,  the members of Womens Association, Derebail Church, gathered  for their monthly  meeting and  Pavsa Gammath  celebration at the Meeting Hall of Derebail Church at 6.00pm.  

After the meeting Pavsa Gammath was celebrated. The Celebration commenced with a Prayer song. 

Rev.Fr. Joseph Martis-Spiritual Director and Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Steevan Nelson Peris -Assistant Parish Priest, Rev.Bro. Augustin,  Rev.Sr. Maria Aranha and Rev. Sr.Shashikala,   Mrs.Sheela Dsouza-Vice President- Parish Pastoral Parishad and Secretary-Mr. Denzil Pinto,  Parish 21 Commissions Coordinator Mr.Anil Patrao and Sacriston Mr.Prinson were the guests. The President- Mrs.Dora Sequeira gave a Floral  welcome to the guests.

Rev. Fr.Joseph Martis,  delivered an inspiring message praising the Members and the  leaders for organising the wonderful event. The  members  who prepared 22 delicious dishes were honoured. Individuals celebrating their birthdays in August 2025 were also felicitated.

The members entertained the audience with a skit,  poetry recitation, by conducting various games and housei housie . The Parish Priest honoured the winners with prizes.

Secretary, Mrs. Juliana Coelho gave vote of thanks.  

Rev. Fr.Steevan Nelson Peris concluded the programme with prayers invoking blessings on the food and on Members.

Rev.Fr.Joseph Martis inaugurated the delicacies. The food was enjoyed by all making the celebration a grand success. 

62 persons were attended the programme.  

Mrs. Pramila Furtado well  compered the programme.
