Celebrating Service: PPC Marks the End of a Fruitful Tenure with Thanksgiving and Fellowship Dinner

After the completion of their three-year tenure, the office bearers and members of the Parish Pastoral Council (PPC) came together for a thanksgiving and fellowship dinner on 14 December 2025 at 7:00 PM in the Parish Banquet Hall.

The programme began with a hymn, following which the Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Joseph Martis, addressed the gathering and extended a warm welcome to all present. In his address, he highlighted the dedicated service rendered by the Vice President, Mrs. Sheela D’Souza; the Secretary, Mr. Denzil Pinto; and the Coordinator of the 21 Commissions, Mr. Anil Patrao, during their three-year tenure. Recalling several instances of their selfless service, he appreciated and applauded their commitment and sacrifices for the good of the parish.

As a token of appreciation and gratitude, the three leaders were felicitated and presented with mementos, after which each of them addressed the gathering. The Parish Priest also presented mementos to all the PPC members present in recognition of their service.

The evening was enlivened with spot game sand prizes were distributed to the winners. Mr. Denzil Pinto and Mr. Anil Patrao conducted a lively round of Housie-Housie game.

Rev. Fr. Steevan Nelson Peris said the grace before meals, following which everyone shared a fellowship dinner.
