Annual CLC Day Celebration, 2023

On the occassion of the Feast of Immaculate Conception of Mother Mary, Christian Life Community members celebrated Annual CLC Day on 8th  December, 2023. The celebration began with a Thanksgiving Mass offered by the members and community at 5.30 PM.  Fr. Kevin Dsouza was the main celebrant. Later, a get- together followed at Derebail Church Meeting Hall at 6.30 PM.The motto of CLC is "To Christ, through Mary".The programme began with a short prayer service.

 A formal  programme was held where the Parish Priest Rev. Fr.  Joseph Martis,Rev. Fr. Kevin Dsouza, Vice President of PPP Mrs. Sheela D'souza, Secretary of PPP Mr Denzil Pinto,President of Senior CLC Mr. Ullas D'costa and President of Youth CLC Mr. Rovin Dsouza were the dignitaries on the dias. Mr. Ullas D'costa welcomed the gathering.The report of Senior CLC was read by the Secretary, Mrs Mable Sequeira  and Youth CLC report was followed along with a presentation on behalf of secretary, by the Treasurer, Ms.Preethi Pais.

 Further, Mr. Gerry consessao was honoured for the selfless service that he has been rendering for CLC for past so many years. Mrs.Celine Correa was honoured for her relentless service in  and around, parish, society and community.
The dignitaries followed with their words of appreciation to the members for their selfless service to the parish and encouraged members to carry on their service with same spirit and zeal.

The Vote of thanks was rendered by Mr. Rovin Dsouza . Fr. Joseph prayed grace before meals along with the blessings. The entire Programme was compered by Mr. Ullas Dcosta. A total of 42 members were present. The programme winded up with fellowship meal. To conclude, it was a pleasant reunion with lots of fun and a day to be cherished.
