An Insightful Confirmation Session on Holy Spirit and Holy Eucharist by Ms. Jean Lobo

A special session was conducted at Most Holy Redeemer Church Derebail for the students receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation on Sunday, 23 November 2025, from 3 PM to 5 PM. The session, held at the church premises, focused on the topics of the *"Holy Spirit & Holy Eucharist"* and was led by Ms. Jean Lobo from MFC Singles, Mangalore. 

Ms. Lobo provided a comprehensive explanation of the Holy Spirit, covering the experience of stirring the spirit within oneself and the obstacles one might face in receiving the Holy Spirit. She effectively connected the spiritual teachings with personal experiences through her own life sharing, which resonated well with the gathered students.

The session also delved into the essence of the Holy Eucharist, explaining the significance of events that occur during Mass, particularly during the offertory. As a bonus, Ms. Lobo inspired the students by speaking about saints and encouraging everyone to have a personal saint to guide them.

The session was attended by several church leaders and catechists, including Rev. Fr. Joseph Martis (Parish Priest), Rev.Fr. Steevan Nelson (Assistant Parish Priest), Br. Augustine Pao, and Mr. Jeswin Castelino (Confirmation Catechism Teacher).

Fr. Martis concluded the session by expressing his gratitude to Ms. Lobo for her availability, zeal, and inspiring talk, which provided valuable insights to all the attendees.
