Kottara Ward Members pay visit to Sneha Sadan Ashram

A total of about 22 members from 11 families of Kottara Ward of Most Holy Redeemer Church, paid a visit to Sneha Sadan Ashram at 5:00 P.M. on the 28th of July, 2019. The ashram houses about 24 children. The ward members spent about two and a half hours time   with the children and their incharge Sr. Genevieve. The programme began with a hymn by the children of the ashram. On behalf of the entire ashram one child extended a warm welcome to the ward members. Mrs Lilly Castelino gave a few words of wisdom to the children and wished them well for their future.

The ward members then conducted games and won the hearts of the little children there. The ward members also distributed gifts, fruits and sweets among the children. A few children entertained the gathering by showcasing their talents.

Sr. Genevieve expressed her heartfelt gratitude towards the generosity of the ward members. She also gave a brief insight into the history and functioning of the ashram. The Gurkar rendered the Vote of Thanks.
